A great location overlooking the embankment. The food was great the starters were really good. The mains seemed to have a big touch of acidity coming through, which overpowered the dishes a little. Overall good food and cannot wait to try their brunch! One huge thing to note is that they do not serve alcohol so if you want to bring your own there are charges 1.50 per glass and I think 20 per spirit bottle you bring

Cannot recommend this place enough. By far best food spot in Bedford by a country mile. (My favourite cuisine - Indian/asian) vibe’s always good, food tastes fantastic and staff really friendly. Taken my work colleagues, friends and partner there. Can’t have enough. Well done guys!

First time visiting this spot since it was called The Quay which we really liked. Even though it was a very hot day, the conditions inside were cool, service top notch (shout out to our waiter Sharia for making it a seamless experience) and food delightful (even if the mains had a bit more lemon than usual). Excellent veg and non-veg options such as the chilli paneer, fried chicken and the bhajias/pakoras starters are worth the visit alone. Will be back to taste their brunch menu. Also worth noting it’s a BYOB policy but great selection of mocktails and soft drinks should you need.

We were 5 diners (2 adults and 3 kids) 1st time visiting Bedford and read the reviews and did not disappoint at all. Food and service all first class, kids menu was wonderful and they really enjoyed their meal and drinks. We had separate thali and unlimited tea and dessert all great. Highly recommended !!

Had such a great time at Dadaji Bedford! The food was packed with bold, authentic flavors — especially loved their thalis and tandoor dishes. But what really caught my eye? Their awesome mocktails and dry bar setup. No alcohol, but the drinks were super creative, tasty, and refreshing. If you’re after amazing food with a fun, alcohol-free vibe, this is the spot. Totally coming back! #DadajiBedford #Mocktails #DryBarVibes #AlcoholFree #FoodLover #BedfordEats #SoberVibes #FoodieFinds #ChillVibes

I went for dinner at Dadaji's with my partner recently, and I really enjoyed the whole experience. I have tried a few of the Indian restaraunts in the area and wasn't so impressed, but Dadaji's really blew it out the park! We had the samosa chaat, papadams and fish pakoras to start with and they were all delicious, and served in a quick and timely manner. The portions for just the starters were generous and delicious. For mains, we had the mutton shank curry, tandoor roasted rotis, basmati rice and a quarter chicken roasted in the tandoor oven. I can recommend everything I ordered, especially the mutton curry which melted in your mouth and was packed full of flavour and spice. I have tried chaat house and I recall a lot of their dishes being spiced with the same type of seasoning mix, which resulted in a lot of food tasting the same (i.e. the cauliflower and the chaat). At Dadaji's, this was not a problem I encountered. Each dish had it's own distinctive flavour profile and it felt like I had a variety within my meal. We finished the meal with a masala chai which I highly recommed - soul reviving on a cool summer night after a big meal! Also, the chai is unlimited, so you can get refills on refills, which definitely suits me. The ambience and overall mood of the restaraunt was really enjoyable and I felt very looked after by the staff (thank you Shariah for your kindness and looking after us!). There is a lot of variety on the menu for both food and drink and I look forward to coming back and trying more of the food soon. I highly recommend a visit if you haven't tried Dadaji's before.
